ERGO has been recognized as the most loved insurer in the Baltic States

This year ERGO Insurance Group brand has been recognized as the most loved insurance brand in the Baltics States. The Baltic TOP of the most loved brands this year was made for the first time, but Latvian TOP of the most loved brands was built up since 2004.

This year, the brand TOP was made by advertising and marketing agency DDB Latvia in cooperation with the research company GfK Custom Research Baltic and Latvian business magazine Capital.
The main objective of the Baltic TOP is to promote local brands integration across the region. In order to identify the most loved brands, more than 3000 residents in the Baltic region at age 15 – 74 were surveyed in July. Consumer and brand relationship intensity were expressed in multilevel scale starting from equality and up to love.

This year to the Baltic TOP claimed overall 203 brands and additionally 330 questions were asked about consumer lifestyle and behaviours in all three Baltic States.

Māra Tauriņa, Client service director of GfK Custom Research Baltic: “Results of the most loved brand top were determined according to “DDB Brand Capital TM” research methodology, also including data that represents lifestyle, demography and media usage. This year observable marketing activities have helped ERGO to step higher in the Baltic TOP of the most loved insurers, acquiring leader position.
GfK data about insurance industry in the Baltics indicates that residents in Lithuania insure more and also data of reliability to insurance companies in Lithuania are comparatively higher. Residents in Latvia use insurance services less and gaining their good will is more complicated. Accordingly Lithuanians have presented their love to the ERGO brand the most and together with “lovers” in Latvia and Estonia have ensured stable leader position to it in the Baltic TOP.
